About the event

BLACK NOIR presents Cross The Line Takeover (Gold Coast)

Having made a name for themselves on the Gold Coast putting on top notch Techno acts and shows, we had to bring the team south to Sydney!

Kevin Paviani, D'Vega, Odd One and Poli are all residents of the Cross The Line brand and love the hard techno we pump in Sydney!

We had to welcome the team to BLACK NOIR as they are just as passionate about the hard techno sound as we are! Be prepared for a night of pounding energy and Techno!

KEVIN PAVIANI

Passionate about techno, Kevin Paviani is a Gold Coast-based DJ who's been making waves in the music industry over the past years with his expert technique and unique sound, blending drum machines and synthesizers. Music Director and Resident Dj of Cross The Line, Paviani has been driving crowds wild, performing at events alongside DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Nusha, Mha Iri, Cosmic Boys, Alex Stain, Victor Ruiz, just to name a few. Kevin Paviani has been unleashing unstoppable techno rhythms and grooves throughout Queensland and New South Wales, creating an irresistible listening experience.

ODD ONE

Having a professional experience in the music industry, Odd One has performed with different musicians and artists collecting a lot of knowledge that allows him to perform with new mixing techniques to reach the crowd.

During the past year he has been making his path through the techno scene in Australia in collaboration with his collective Cross The Line, playing in big events and supporting international DJs in different states of the country. Odd One makes a difference behind the decks thanks to his professionalism, passion and love for what he does, always being risky and achieving transitions between different musical genres.

POLI

Directly from Chile, Poli, has enchanted the people with her charisma and acid sounds. Combining influences from peak-time, raw, hard techno and Psy, she has performed alongside great international artists such as Andres Campo, Nusha, Paco Osunasuna, Alex Stein, Cosmic Boys and Mha iri, in events all over Australia and her home country.

D'VEGA

Born in Bogota, Colombia, DVEGA started in the world of Techno at the beginning of 2021, influencing himself in electrical dark sounds and heavy grooves incorporating Latin culture and Hip Hop culture. His taste for percussion and kinky sounds evokes a sultry musicality. His sets weave a tale of high energy and sexy tracks skirt between the ease and immenseness of the mainstream while provoking a quintessential dazzling and venomous underground groove.

PRMIDV

PRMIDV, the Sydney based Hard Techno newcomers, aim to design drops that will climb inside your skin and enslave your soul to the music.

2023 marks the start of a new Journey into Hard Techno for Yusof and Anthony for the pure love of the rave. Both having a background of producing and performing in Hardstyle for some years, only to be introduced to the new wave of Hard Techno and it captivating to them to the point of no return.

Their love for hard kicks, high tempo's, rolling basslines and traditional rave sounds resonates in their experimental Hard Techno productions ready to take the scene to a new level.

'We're two Hardstyle influenced artists that want to bring some of that old sound back with a Hard Techno stamp of approval.'

We recognise this event takes place on stolen Gadigal land of the Eora Nation. We acknowledge the traditional owners and pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
