Troy a local legend in his own right and with Sydney’s TECHNO veterans Vic Zee and Mookie alongside this will be a masterclass of music to remember!

We are excited to venture this week with some new flavour in the techno with Troy’s talent for unique selections!

TROY BEMAN:

A classically trained pianist, Troy has developed a signature sound that consistently pushes boundaries and tempo, setting trends with a healthy respect for classics. Drawing sets from a deep well of musical knowledge, Troy takes every chance to pay homage to the artistic forebears whose contributions have made his career (and dance music writ large) possible, many of them marginalized, LGBTQ+ people of colour.

VIC ZEE B2B MOOKIE (SWARM SINCE 1999)

Vic Zee and Mookie are undoubtedly considered Sydney's hard techno power couple. They have both been dedicated to the underground techno scene since the early nineties. Incidentally, they met on the dancefloor and music has been central to all they do ever since.

Their dedication and passion has been consistently obvious in the success of their Swarm events, which have been running since 1999. Swarm has always remained true to Vic and Mookie’s techno ethos, even when techno was not considered the flavour of the month.
